As part of Rock Valley College’s Continuing Learning in Retirement program, we’ll be presenting “The Civil War in our National Park System” on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. This will be an online course.
Course Description: Over seventy of the 419 National Park Service sites have a direct connection to the Civil War! Such is the impact the Civil War had on American history and the country we live in today. We’ll explore a selection of these seventy plus sites, revisiting their profound stories and the heroism and tragedy within events that changed the course of our nation.
